Privacy Policy
Approved MSB Services Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”), part of CBES Group, operates this website. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable privacy laws.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide: your full name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the type of MSB service you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field or in later correspondence with us.
- Information collected automatically: the page you landed on, the website hostname, and the advertising parameters in the link you followed (Google click ID and UTM tags). If analytics or advertising tags are enabled, they may also collect your browser type, device, IP address and how you use the website.
Please do not send passwords, identity documents or financial account details through the website form. We will ask for any documents we need through a secure channel after we have spoken with you.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange your free consultation.
- To assess your business model and prepare a proposal for the services you ask about.
- To provide the services you engage us for and to communicate with you about them.
- To understand which of our advertisements and web pages bring enquiries, and to improve the website.
- To send you information about our services, where you have agreed to receive it. You can opt out at any time by replying to any message or writing to us.
- To comply with our legal and professional obligations.
3. Cookies and tracking technologies
This page stores the advertising parameters from your link (Google click ID and UTM tags) in your browser's session storage so they can be attached to your enquiry; they are removed when you close the browser tab. If enabled, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Meta tags may set cookies or use similar technologies to recognise your browser, analyse website traffic and usage patterns, and measure or deliver relevant advertisements. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them does not affect your ability to contact us through the form.
4. Sharing of your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who process it on our behalf: the automation service (Make) that delivers form submissions to our internal systems, our IT, email and document-storage providers, and analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta) if their tags are enabled on this site.
- Regulators and authorities such as FINTRAC, the Bank of Canada and corporate registries, when you engage us to prepare and file registrations or documents on your behalf.
- Legal and professional advisers, and anyone else where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. Data storage and international transfers
We are based in Ontario, Canada. Your information may be processed or stored outside your own country, including in Canada and in the countries where our service providers operate, and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected wherever it is processed.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of our engagement and the period required by our legal and professional obligations. After that we delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, withdraw your consent, and lodge a complaint with a privacy authority. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@msbcanada.ca. In Canada you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information to protect it against loss, theft and unauthorised access, use or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Third-party links
This website links to external sites such as the Law Society of Ontario, Google Maps and YouTube. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their policies.
10. Children's privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
