Trust, but verify

There are scammers in this market. Here's how to tell us apart

Some “providers” promise a fast, cheap MSB licence, take payment and disappear. Before you trust anyone with your registration, run these three checks. On us, they all pass.

Straight talk

Two things we will not promise you

A realistic word on timelines

We move quickly on everything within our control. The longest part of the wait sits with the regulator: FINTRAC sets the pace of pre-registration and final approval, and no provider can shorten it. So if anyone guarantees you a new registration in two months, ask them to write that deadline into the contract.

A note on banking

Opening a bank account is always the bank's decision, not ours — so we never promise it as a service. What we do: as part of your consultation, we share a curated list of MSB-friendly Canadian providers from our network, at no extra cost.

FAQ

Questions founders ask us first

Do I need a Canadian director, or to live in Canada?

No. Your company can be 100% foreign-owned, an Ontario corporation does not require a resident director, and the whole process is completed remotely.

Is there a minimum capital requirement?

No. There is no start-up capital requirement for a Canadian MSB registration.

How long does registration take?

We move quickly on everything within our control, but FINTRAC sets the pace of pre-registration and final approval, and no provider can shorten it. That is why we do not put a guaranteed deadline on a new registration — and why you should be careful with anyone who does.

Will you open a bank account for my MSB?

Opening an account is always the bank's decision, so we never promise it as a service. As part of your consultation we share a curated list of MSB-friendly Canadian providers from our network, at no extra cost.

Who actually handles my registration?

Our own team, in a company managed by a licensed Ontario lawyer, Eugene Jakubov. We file with FINTRAC directly and never sub-contract your registration.

How can I verify that you are a real company?

Look up Eugene Jakubov in the Law Society of Ontario directory (#76272W) on lso.ca, and find our office at 30 Wertheim Court, Unit 12, Suite 201, Richmond Hill, Ontario on Google Maps. You are welcome to visit.

How much does it cost?

Packages start from CAD 13,000 + HST. Packages with Bank of Canada registration include the Bank of Canada fee of CAD 2,500. The final price depends on your particular situation and is confirmed after the free consultation. Annual support after registration is CAD 5,000+ depending on scope.

What happens after I send the form?

We reply by email or phone during business hours (Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 Toronto time) to arrange your free consultation. We review your business model, tell you which registrations you need and confirm the price. There is no obligation.
